We are currently hiring
Security Supervisors to join our team in Piney Flats, TN. This role is ideal for a proven security professional with leadership experience who is dependable, professional, and customer-service driven.
As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site security operations, leading Security Officers, and ensuring all post orders, policies, and safety standards are followed. You will serve as a key point of contact between officers, clients, and branch leadership while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities - Supervise and support Security Officers during assigned shifts
- Ensure compliance with DSI policies, client requirements, and post instructions
- Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible leadership, patrols, and oversight
- Respond to and manage incidents, emergencies, and escalated situations
- Observe, report, and address safety hazards, suspicious activity, and security concerns
- Assist with training, coaching, and performance accountability of assigned personnel
- Complete incident reports, shift logs, and required documentation accurately and timely
- Serve as a professional representative of DSI with clients, visitors, and the public
- Participate in required training and ensure team compliance with DSI safety policies and manuals
Qualifications & Requirements - Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous security experience required
- Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience required
- Valid state driver's license (required)
- Reliable transportation and consistent means of communication (required)
- Basic to intermediate computer proficiency required (report writing, scheduling, and electronic systems)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions required
- Must successfully pass all required criminal background checks, motor vehicle screening, and drug screening
One of the following is required: - Prior military, law enforcement, or corrections experience OR
- A minimum of two (2) years of verifiable security supervisory experience
Certification Requirements - Valid state driver's license
- Valid * State* Security License
Available Shift - 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday
- 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday
