ResponsibilitiesNORTON CHILDREN’S GENETICS CENTER, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, is seeking a boardcertified/ board-eligible physician in both pediatrics and clinical genetics. The candidate will function as part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team of professionals that provides clinical genetic services. The Norton Children’s Genetics Center team is dedicated to providing comprehensive medical genetic consultation and services to pediatric patients and their families, as well as adults who have or are at risk for hereditary conditions. The team consists of medical geneticists, genetic counselors, metabolic nutritionists and a coordinator for the newborn screening program. Outpatient and inpatient genetic services are provided, as well as consultations with interdisciplinary subspecialists in specialty clinics. Norton Children's Genetics Center staff actively participate in training professionals involved in the care of these individuals and are involved in clinical research in genetics. Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient.
