Computer Repair TechnicianRiverside Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Computer Repair Technician. If you like working in a fast-paced environment and have great customer service skills, we welcome your application!Job Summary:As a Computer Repair Technician, you will be providing onsite hardware and networking support. In this role, you'll perform installs, moves, adds, and changes. You'll also provide technical assistance and support for computer systems and hardware. Plus, you'll be responsible for follow-up services and problem escalation.What You'll Be Doing:Providing onsite support to our customers, including hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops, and serversMaintaining a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor, and dressPerforming installs, moves, adds, and changes as required as well as testing and inspecting units for qualityCommunicating accurately, concisely, and professionally with the customer about important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completionProviding technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to computer systems and hardwareResponding to email messages for customers seeking assistanceMaintaining daily performance of computer systems and running diagnostic programs to identify problems with computer systemsInstalling, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and softwarePrioritizing and reviewing work orders to schedule daily workDeveloping a working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and proceduresPerforming inventory managementPerforming other related duties as assignedRequirementsWhat You'll Need:High school diploma or GEDA+, Cisco, and HP certifications highly desiredAbility to travel when required1 year in field service support role supporting a variety of hardware and networking equipment preferredSense of urgencyMust be available for varying shifts depending on customers' needsRegular reliable attendanceExceptional organizational skills and a professional presenceAbility to work efficiently within a teamMust have ability to move equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.Must have exceptional driving record and have a valid driver's license (part of the responsibilities will be to drive a company vehicle for deliveries)Must be able to climb laddersMust be able to work at heights of 3-40 ft.Must be able to pass drug screening and background checkWhat You Can Look Forward to:We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 401(k) with match, medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, and a generous PTO plan.PASSION: A passionate work environment – we are passionate about finding unique, creative solutions to our customers' challenges.CREATIVITY: A creative environment with creative people – we enjoy finding creative solutions to different challenges.TEAMWORK: A team-centric environment - we thrive on working with others to reach a common goal.
